Bee Friendly Farming is a program that supports farmers to implement simple, science-based practices to help protect, preserve and promote the
health of all pollinators on their properties.

By incorporating Bee Friendly Farming practices, farmers can improve pollination, reduce pollination costs and boost farm efficiency and
productivity.

The program encourages farmers to support bees and other pollinators by:

  • Increasing food sources
  • Providing diverse flowering plants throughout the year
  • Adding nesting habitat
  • Improving access to water
  • Reducing or eliminating pesticides and practising Integrated Pest and Pollinator Management.

Bee Friendly Farming Certified accreditation acts as a clear signal to consumers, customers and communities that these farms are dedicated to
supporting pollinator health on their properties and committed to improving sustainability.

Accreditation also enables beekeepers to easily identify farms that meet Bee Friendly Farming standards and prioritise the health of bees while on
their farms.

The Bee Friendly Farming team is available to support farmers and land managers who want to incorporate Bee Friendly Farming practices into their business.
